Ever seen those rom coms where the city slicker high flying career girl leaves it all behind to pursue an artsy career? Hallmark movies have got this trope down pat. Somehow, perhaps because I have watched too many guilty pleasure hallmark movies, this trope has now become my life. I tried the whole lawyer lark, decided it wasn’t for me, then tried the office job corporate clone route, decided that also wasn’t for me, and so here I am, fairly broke, definitely happier and living my life out of a travelling bag.

I’ve quit the law and my job and I am now looking to travel this beautiful island for the foreseeable future, and I am bring you along with me. I’ve gotten myself a fancy new camera, have no idea how to use it, but I guess we’ll learn along the way. So come along with me as I fulfill my travel bucket list for 2024…

Here’s a sneak peak in to my 2024 bucket list. It’s a long one!

1. How do you afford to travel?

It’s all about budgeting, budgeting and even more budgeting.

3. How do you decide where to go?

It all depends on the purpose and reason for the trip.

2. What’s you favourite place to visit?

Hands down my all time favourite place is Nilaveli. You cannot go wrong with a trip to the beach.

4. How do you decide where to stay?

This usually depends on my budget, the reason for the trip and a lot of research.
